As I was looking through various newspapers today, I realized just how close to the rapture we really are. Jesus said in Matthew 24, That when we see all the signs He spoke about, to look up, He is at the door. The signs are all around us. Every article I read this morning was Bible Prophecy unfolding before my eyes. Each Headline was foretold over 2000 thousand years ago in the Bible.
People are being murdered everyday, mothers are killing their innocent little children, woman are being sexually assaulted, there's kids killing kids, it's so sad. Our schools aren't safe anymore, and neither are our churches. God has been taken out of our schools, government, and just about any public place. It is just like in the days of Noah, just as Jesus predicted 2000 years ago.
There are churches for Atheists. They don't want their children to feel left out, so they have started a church to teach their children how to deal with the "religious, God fearing " people. And, what about our God-fearing churches. The gospel is watered down in order not to offend anyone. Sin is being tolerated, not preached against. We are allowing homosexuals to become ministers in our "God-fearing" churches. We allow preachers that have compromised themselves to remain in high positions. Noah's day again.
The world as we know it is falling apart and at a very rapid pace. There are wars all over. Old diseases that have become antibiotic resistant. New diseases that are spreading so fast it's hard to keep up with them.
Jesus predicted in the last days that natural disasters would increase in frequency and intensity causing man great fear. The weird weather patterns we are experiencing makes you wonder what on earth is happening to our planet. The increase and intensity of earthquake, tsunami's, floods, droughts, hurricanes, cyclones, typhoons that are hitting the world shows us the absolute accuracy of God's word.
How about our food - come on - we were told the day after Thanksgiving that our Turkeys were poisoned! But, China didn't realize it until the day after Thanksgiving, so it was too late to recall them, although they apologised to the American people. Well, thank you China!
Not only the turkeys, how about beef, frozen pot pies, cat food, dog food, children's toys, ice bars, ice cream, the list is endless. To be honest if I didn't bless my food, I probably wouldn't eat again.
Look at the oil prices, $3.25 a gallon for heating oil, $3.56 a gallon for diesel fuel, and gasoline is $2.98 a gallon for regular. A loaf of bread is anywhere from $.99 - $2.49 depending on where you shop. To feed a family of three today, three meals a day, at $4.00 per person per meal is $36.00 per day which is $252.00 per week for groceries. Revelation 6:5,6, And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. We are living in the "pre" days of the complete fulfilment of this prophecy, and we think it is bad now, it is going to get a lot worse!
This is not happening just in the United States it is world wide. Actually, we are more fortunate than some of the other countries. We have people literally starving to death in some countries. And they are living in unhealthy conditions, while their government does little to help them.
How about global warming, asteroid strikes, weird weather, terrorist attacks, Iranian nuclear threats, the Middle East, the worldwide economic collapse, resurgent Marxist Russia. It is easy to see where we are headed. The good news is that "our redemption drawth nigh." Praise God, He is coming soon!

Holmes Comet, is it a sign from above?

The Holmes Comet is currently the largest single object in our solar system. The diameter of the comet’s comma is now over 869,900 miles. That makes it larger than our sun. It has been said that the orbit cycle of this span is seven years, that being a profound number in the rapture community it has many people watching it very closely.
Scientists have no idea how large this comet may end up being. The comet is moving away from us currently. A comet that is getting brighter due to its course is acting outside normal behaviors. This comet increased its brightness millions of times over in just one day!!
Holmes is an old comet; it was first sighted in 1892. This comet should have faded away many years ago, but as you can see it is alive and doing very good for its age. This comet is behaving very oddly, it is acting as if it has a mind of its own, and it has scientists stumped globally. Keep an eye on this developing phenomenon. Look closely in the photo below, see the cross?

Tensions Growing
With Egypt and Saudi Arabia's rising interest in nuclear programs, along with Iran's move to nuclear power, Israeli Strategic Affairs Minister Avigor Lieberman warns of an "apocalyptic scenario" for Israel and the rest of the world.
Ezekiel 38 & 39 tell of a war that will take place sometime in the future, possibly near future. A group of countries, (Arab countries along with Russia) will gather against Israel and God himself will destroy them.
Iran now having the ability to make a nuclear weapon this prophecy seems very real. Iran has made it very clear that they hate Israel. On several occasions Iran has said "Israel should be wiped off the face of the map."
Tensions between Iran, Israel and the United States are increasing. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has continued to defy international demands to stop nuclear enrichment. In responds to this the United States has mentioned taking military action. Both Israel and the United States said this could lead to World War 111.
We are getting close, closer today than yesterday to the rapture of the church. Everything is speeding toward a destructive end for the world. I'm not sure where the nuclear thing is going, but it is starting to sound a lot like Ezekiel's prophecy.
Taking all into consideration, you can almost hear Jesus calling, "Come up here."

Russia, What's Up?

The Lower House, approved 418-0 a law allowing Russia to stop complying with the Conventional Forces in Europe Treaty. This only needs final approval from the Upper House of Parliament and President Vladimir Putin which is slated for December 12.
Mr Putin gave formal notice in July that Russia would suspend treaty, considered a cornerstone of European security by the west. Of course the United States and other countries may view this as a possible threat to their personal security. This treaty limits the amount of heavy artillery and combat planes that can de used between the Atlantic and the Ural mountains.
Russia sees the treaty as outdated and limits their military and wants "western powers" to revise the treaty.
Personally I believe they are trying to flex their "military muscle". Seems to me like Russia is going back to a Cold War type of atmosphere. The law in effect in regards to the treaty gives Putin the option to withdraw Russia's participation in the treaty or to place themselves in it again as he sees fit.

The stage is being set

When I was a young girl going to school we faithfully started the school day with The Lord's Prayer. The Bible was a book that could be opened and read aloud to the class and no one had to worry about being accused of poisoning children's minds.
Nativity scenes could be set up on the town green and well wishers could say Merry Christmas without worrying about being labeled politically incorrect because it was offensive.
The Word of God foretells that a day is coming when a world leader will appear who will lead the people away from the true God. He will spread a new religion, one without the redemption of Christ. As a matter of fact you will pay with your life if you refuse to deny Christ and conform to this world religion.
I'm not writing this to scare anyone. I do pray it will bring some to think about the current events of the day.
Our country was founded on christian beliefs. Our forefathers declared us to be,"One nation under God." Yet as a Nation we constantly continue to push Him out of our lives and take Him out of the lives of our children.
It is my belief that what is going on today is setting the stage for this new world leader to spread his deception. For Christians its a time to stand firm in their belief and faith in Jesus Christ.
For those that do not know the Lord it's a time to go to the Word of God, there you will find that everything that is going on around us today was foretold thousands of years ago. We can not stop prophesy from coming to pass. We can rejoice in the fact that Jesus has promised to take care of His own.
One day, and I believe it to be very soon, He will return to take His body of believers to be with Him, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. We do not need to be in fear of what is to come. We have Christs Word to take comfort and hope in. It is God's perfect will that none should perish but have everlasting life in Christ Jesus, John 3:16.
Have you made Him your Lord and Saviour? Are you at peace knowing your future is secure in Him? If not I pray that you will take this time to call on Him today, He's waiting for you, He died to guarantee your forgiveness of sins, and He rose from the grave to guarantee you will have eternal life with Him.
Jesus is coming soon....Are you ready for His return?

You should be outraged
This years Folsom Street Fair had as its promotional poster an image mocking the Last Supper of Jesus and His disciples. Jesus and His disciple's were shown wearing leather and the wine and bread were replaced with sex toys.
The Fair is an annual homosexual event that takes place in San Francisco the last Sunday of September. The event was sponsored by Miller Brewing Co.
The fair was filled with nudity and sexual acts taking place openly - in public - on the street while thousands passed by or stopped to watch. There were also performances by Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, an anti-catholic group.
Miller was asked by the Catholic League to call off its sponsorship completely,but officials say they declined. The Catholic League has sent out graphic photographs of this event to thousands of catholics in Milwaukee, also, pictures were posted on line at catholic.org to apply pressure to the brewery to halt its sponsorship of such events.
Three thousand policeman were placed there to keep order, yet not a single person was arrested. I guess it didn't matter that perverse acts were being done in the open - in front of others.
All this can go on and no one will do anything about it, it is allowed. But, let someone want to read their Bible in public or put up a nativity scene and watch what happens.
Jude 1:18 'How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.'
